Elizabeth Lev moved to Italy twenty years ago after studying Renaissance art at University of Chicago. After her graduate work in Baroque art at the University of Bologna, she moved to Rome in 1996. Happily settled in the Eternal city, she teaches art history at Duquesne University's Italian campus and at the the Pontifical University of the Angelicum. She has also written for Inside the Vatican, First Things and is a regular contributor to Zenit news agency and aol's Politics Daily magazine. She has been a Vatican analyst for FOX, MSNBC and ABC. Her upcoming book, Caterina Sforza, The Tigress of Forlì with be published by Harcourt Press this year, and she can be seen presently as host of the EWTN television series, Catholic Canvas.
Robert Moynihan is the founder and editor of Inside the Vatican magazine and author of Let God’s Light Shine Forth: The Spiritual Vision of Benedict XVI, and of the forthcoming book A New Inquisition? A History of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith under Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. A graduate of Harvard and Yale, Robert Moynihan also received a diploma in Latin Letters from the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1986. Today, in addition to his role as editor, Robert leads Inside the Vatican pilgrimages to the Eternal City twice a year and serves as an occasional commentator on Vatican issues for various television and radio shows such as “Al Kresta Live,” “Mother Angelica Live,” and for CNN and FOX news.
